When Isaiah was asked by God, “whom shall I send!” he responded: ‘here am I, send me.’ I wish the many people today would have that same response to the calling that God has given them.
It doesn’t matter whether it is across the world or simply across the street! Regardless of where God calls us or to what, we should have the same response. However, it is not that way. Many times we give the answer that it is not the correct time or perhaps “I can’t do that;” but whatever the response, if it is anything other than here I am, it is wrong. When is the correct time? Will it ever be? Why can’t you do whatever God has called you to? If He called you to it, He will equip you to do it!
Our answers are so feeble. May God forgive us.
