Mogotes, a small town nestled in the rolling hills of Santander, Colombia, has become a beacon of hope for a new church plant. Local missions teams have been faithfully visiting the town every week, lifting up the community in prayer and seeking God’s guidance.
It’s encouraging to know that several families are already meeting as a small group and have the desire to see a church established there. These families have been longing for a place to call home, a sanctuary where they can worship, fellowship, and grow in their faith.
We’ve also had the privilege of ministering in a couple of the rural schools in the Mogotes area. These outreach efforts have not only touched the lives of the students but have also opened doors for deeper engagement with the community. The people of Mogotes have responded with open hearts, eager to welcome the message of hope and transformation that the teams have brought.
As the plans for the new church plant continue to take shape, the air is filled with a palpable sense of anticipation and excitement.
