Barichara church Inauguration

With great joy and deep gratitude to God, we celebrate the inauguration of the new church in Barichara, Colombia—a milestone that reflects years of prayer, perseverance, and faithful partnership. This journey began in 2018 when the vision to plant a vibrant, Spirit-filled church in this historic town took root. Though progress was slowed during the COVID-19 pandemic, our hearts never wavered. In 2022, construction resumed with renewed strength and purpose, driven by the desire to establish a house of worship that would serve the spiritual needs of the region for generations to come.

The final phase of construction was completed in November 2024 through the gracious efforts of a missions team from Green Ridge Church in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Their labor of love included laying the sanctuary floors and completing a number of important finishing projects that helped prepare the building for its dedication. Their sacrificial service, along with the contributions of so many others over the years, marked a beautiful chapter in the story of what God is building in Barichara—not just in brick and mortar, but in lives transformed by His presence.

The inauguration ceremony in February 2025 was a time of celebration, thanksgiving, and unity. Pastors from across the region and from the United States came together to bless and dedicate the building to the Lord. Among the honored guests were local pastors and the district presbyter, whose presence reminded us of the importance of kingdom collaboration. The atmosphere was filled with worship, testimonies, and a deep sense of awe at what the Lord has done.

We are confident that this church will not only be a beacon of hope in Barichara but also a launching point for future ministry, discipleship, and mission in the region. To all who prayed, gave, and served—thank you. This is your fruit, and together we give God all the glory.
